Rancho Feliz Computer Literacy Program

Rancho Feliz, in conjunction with Morris Scott of DMD Systems Recovery Inc. and Jim Armstrong of the JDA Software Group, Inc., is promoting the utilization of computers and internet-based learning systems in the border communities. As computers become available, they are distributed to the various shelters, schools and communities that Rancho Feliz supports. Our most recent donation was 96 computers, 30 monitors and 10 printers to the Agua Prieta Public School System.

Rancho Feliz is very optimistic about the future ramifications of this program. Once children from the barrios are “on-line”, they will have the same access to information and education that is currently enjoyed by our own children here in the United States.

“This non-geographic specific, internet-based, access to education will allow for entire generations to be skipped as children everywhere can now be educated to today’s global standards.”
